Trainee Fire Sprinkler Engineer
The London Sprinkler Systems Recruitment team are constantly on the look out for people to join our expanding team of engineers. If you want to take your career in a new direction, why not talk to us about becoming a trainee fire sprinkler engineer. We look for people who are open minded, embrace new ways of working, wish to learn and absorb the key knowledge to become a trained and qualified Fire Sprinkler Engineer.
Some previous experience of fitting sprinkler systems would be very advantageous but it is not essential. You will receive full training for fire sprinkler installations, in accordance with BS9251 :2021, the British Standard covering residential and domestic fire sprinklers in the UK.
Your training will inclued:
Health and safety practices and obligations
Working to plans and technical drawings
Spotting design flaws – such as obstructions to pipe runs
Installing various types of heavy duty hangers
Core hole drilling
Installation of Steel and (CVPC) pipe, fittings and sprinkler valves
Fire sprinkler maintenance
The demand for residential and domestic fire sprinkler intallations has increased considerabily in the last few years. 96% of tower blocks in London, do not have fire sprinklers installed along with another 3000 Tower blocks across the UK. The shortage in quailified sprinkler engineers means there has never been a better time to start a career in the fire sprinkler industry.

Those with the expertise will build and manage their own teams
We are recruiting Lead Engineers with a minimum of 5 years (CVPC) or steel pipework experience, to install domestic fire sprinkler systems throughout the UK.
Our projects include Care Homes, Schools, Apartment blocks, Hospitals, Hotels, New Builds and Retro Fit’s.
If you can demonstrate recent, relevant experience of installing fire sprinkler systems, we want to hear from you. We offer highly competitive price work with bonus packages for high quaility installs.
